The Story Behind PostPeer
We've both built products that needed to post to social media. Every time, we hit the same wall -each platform has its own API, its own OAuth flow, its own quirks. What should take an afternoon ends up eating weeks.
PostPeer exists because we got tired of solving the same problem over and over. One API to publish everywhere -Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more. No platform SDKs, no OAuth headaches, no token refreshes.
We also built SocialKit, a social media scraping API. Building these tools taught us what developers actually need: simplicity, reliability, and great docs.
Meet the Founders
Jonathan Geiger
I'm Jonathan, co-founder of PostPeer. I'm a senior developer at a tech startup and I spend a lot of my free time building side projects.
In 2024-2025, I created and sold two products: LectureKit, a tool that made learning management easier, and CaptureKit, a screenshot API. I also built SocialKit, a social media scraping API. These experiences taught me a lot about what developers actually need.
PostPeer was born from seeing the same pain point over and over -publishing to social media programmatically is way harder than it should be. We're here to fix that.
Yoav Mendelson
I'm Yoav, co-founder of PostPeer. I'm a senior software developer with deep experience scaling SaaS products from zero to thousands of users.
Before PostPeer, I worked at a startup that got acquired, where I led key engineering efforts across the full stack. I've seen firsthand what it takes to build reliable infrastructure that developers can trust.
